Towels - Why Less is More

If you have a family of 5, and only own 2 towels per person, you will only EVER have to wash, hang, fold and store 10 towels.  Just imagine it. Everyone has just two towels. Sitting there, thinking it's impossible? Hear me out.

Your linen cupboard will not be packed to capacity.

Everyone in your home will have to take responsibility for their own towel. Yep.

And guess what? It's the best system you can implement for your linen cupboard.

HERE’s MY TOP TIPS for this system:

  1. 2 shower towels per person living in your home

  2. 2-4 guest towels maybe more if you have a large family, stored neatly or rolled to save space that are only utilised by guests

  3. Embroider each person's name onto their towel. Wet towel on the floor? We know who's towel it is!

  4. 1 pool or swimming towel extra per person for beach days or pool trips.

Doesn't work for you? That's cool. This system works in my home, and many of my clients' homes. It's easy to clean and do the laundry - less towels on bedroom and bathroom floors? It’s a massive YES to me!
