Pantry storage- Finding the right fit for your family.

What people think organising is:

Buying storage. Visually appealing spaces. Sounds easy enough, right? If buying storage worked, 90% of people would be organised by now.

We know, it’s extremely frustrating to not know what to use in your space. Functionality beats aesthetics, any day!

HERE’s MY TOP TIPS for finding a system:

  1. Realistic visions Who lives in your space? If you have children or toddlers, those glass jars aren’t for you!

  2. Amount of food and stock maybe you have a large family. Maybe keeping food in it’s original packaging works best over decanting.

  3. Accessibility Want to encourage family members to cook and hep themselves? Having a system that is pretty is not always functional. We are co-living, we need to be mindful of what that may look like for us to be able to maintain.

  4. Tubs are not always ideal Have a small space? Deep shelves? Sometimes storage can make things harder for you

Before you rush off to Kmart or shopping online at PLD, we urge you to think about some of the above. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. You’ll spend more in the long run and you’ll end up with container clutter.
